Web Browser Suggestions
We here at Widomaker are frequently asked which web browsers we like and use. We try to provide the best suggestions regarding Internet related services or software. Many of us have several web browsers installed on our desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, that we use for different tasks, or for testing purposes. So without further delay, here are the web browsers, starting with the newest, we like to use:

Thanksgiving 2019
Widomaker will be closed for Thanksgiving on, Thursday, November 28nd, and Friday, November 29rd, 2019. We wish everyone a very happy Thanksgiving and holiday weekend! We will be checking telephone messages, several times, during the day, on Friday. If you have a service related issue, please leave a detailed message.
New Anti-Spam Plugin for Plesk Hosted Mailboxes
This announcement is only intended for customers who have their own custom domain name hosted on one of our Plesk hosting servers.
Our Plesk hosting servers make use of the #1 Open Source anti-spam platform, Spamassassin. Next week we will be implementing an additional anti-spam plugin (Warden Anti-spam and Virus Protection), on our Plesk hosting servers, to enhance the existing Spamassassin system. If you have a domain and e-mail hosted on one of our Plesk hosting servers, you may notice a reduction in the amount of spam/junk e-mail you receive. Additionally, you may see some additional controls and options, regarding spam filtering, in the Plesk control panel.
As with all anti-spam systems, it may require some tweaking at the individual level, before it works optimally. If you notice that some messages are being flagged as spam, that shouldn’t be, please contact us so we can make appropriate adjustments to your individual settings.
Office Closed on Monday, November 4, 2019
Our office will be closed on Monday, November 4, 2019. All services will remain online and monitored.

In addition to @widomaker.com, e-mail users may also receive e-mail addressed to their account @widowmaker.com and @tni.net. Those domain aliases (widowmaker.com and tni.net) are not currently mapped to their original domains. As a result, users will experience the inability to receive emails at the address of an aliased domain until the issue is resolved. Our e-mail server provider is working on resolving the issue.

The Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) has released a cybersecurity guide for small businesses. The U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has redistributed the guide and encourages small business owners and administrators to review the guide, which provides checklists to help small businesses protect themselves against common cybersecurity incidents.
