[Resolved] Webmail Issue

10/25/2019 6:12 PM ET – The Operations team fixed the stylesheets (CSS) not being able to load for the Webmail interface. Webmail should be expected to render normally, now.

10/25/2019 4:35 PM ET – We have identified an issue where Widomaker e-mail users may experience an issue trying to load their Webmail. The page may not load properly. Updates will be made available at the link button, below, as soon as possible…

[Resolved] Issue with Domain Aliases for Email

Oct 18, 2019 – 1:08 PM ET – Issue resolved.

Oct 18, 2019 – 9:56 AM ET – There is currently an issue affecting customers with @widomaker.com e-mail accounts. In addition to @widomaker.com, e-mail users may also receive e-mail addressed to their account @widowmaker.com and @tni.net. Those domain aliases (widowmaker.com and tni.net) are not currently mapped to their original domains. As a result, users will experience the inability to receive emails at the address of an aliased domain until the issue is resolved. Our e-mail server provider is working on resolving the issue.

[Resolved] Office Phone Line Outage 5/16/2019

5/16/2019 10:00pam – Due to a telephone company outage, in our area, the telephone lines at Widomaker’s office are not working. Until the telephone company resolves the telephone service outage, please contact us by e-mail, or by dialing a temporary alternate number of 757-369-9438.

12:00pm – Phone service in our area appears to have been restored.

[Resolved] DSL Outage in Hampton Roads Area on 2/4/2019

[Updates will be added to the bottom of this post]

2/4/2019 2:00 pm: Verizon has confirmed that there is an outage affecting some DSL customers in the, Hampton Roads area. The outage appears to have started around 4:21 am (ET) on, Monday, February 4th, 2019. Verizon has not provided an ETR (Estimated Time of Resolution), at this time, and we are waiting for an update. We appreciate your patience.

2/5/2019 10:00 am: Per Verizon, the outage has cleared. Affected customers were able to reconnect shortly after, 9:00 pm, Monday evening (2/4/2019).

[Resolved] Webmail & Inbound Email Delivery

02/02/2019 9:07pm: Our e-mail server provider has posted a status update regarding an e-mail issue.

Investigating – We are currently experiencing intermittent issues with Cluster B on our Hosted Email platform. Users may experience issues logging in and using our Webmail interface, and with receiving email via external IMAP / POP connections. We will update you as soon as we have more information on the matter.

Resolved – Our Operations team has now resolved the intermittent issues we were having on Cluster B so full functionality and service has now been restored to the Webmail interface and inbound email delivery.

[Resolved 12/14/2018] DSL Outage in Powhatan Secondary Area of Williamsburg

Verizon has confirmed an outage in the area of Powhatan Secondary in, Williamsburg, Virginia. The outage began after power was restored to the area, following the snowy weather and power outages on, Sunday, December 9th, 2018. Verizon has stated they have no ETR (Estimated Time of Resolution), at this time. We are waiting for further updates. We appreciate your patience.

[Update 12/18/2018] We have received an update that Verizon cleared this outage at the end of the day on 12/14/2018. All outage tickets were closed on Verizon’s side. Affected customers have reconnected.

[Resolved] Web Hosting Server Downtime (ServInt to Leaseweb Migration)

[Update 12/26/2018]
The server provider resolved the Plesk license issue on the afternoon of 12/24/2018. The Plesk Control Panel is available, again.

[Update 12:00am 12/8/2018]
The server provider has resolved the mySQL database issues. Websites that use a mySQL database are, again, working properly. There remains a Plesk Control Panel license issue which prevents logging into the Plesk Control Panel to make changes. We have a trouble ticket open for this issue and are waiting for a resolution. With the exception of the license issues, it appears all services on the Plesk6 hosting server are back up and running.
