[Resolved] Multiple Email Issues 8/27 (IMAP/POP/Webmail)

Issue #1 begins at 8/27/2020 2:30 PM

8/27/2020 2:30 PM – Beginning around 2:30 PM, some email users began experiencing trouble accessing email via IMAP, POP, and Webmail. Our email server’s engineering team is investigating. This issue may affect email users with a widomaker.com address, as well as Hosted Email Pro Enhanced Email accounts. Plesk email accounts are NOT affected. Cluster B – IMAP/POP/Webmail (Aug 27 2020 18:52 UTC)

8/27/2020 4:00 PM – “The engineering team has successfully migrated the impacted services to [another unaffected] file system. Users should no longer experience any issues with regards to Cluster B.

Issue #2 Begins at 8/27/2020 5:51 PM

8/27/2020 5:51 PM – “We are currently experiencing a service degradation affecting Cluster B. The engineering team has been engaged and is investigating the issue. Intermittent login failure (Aug 27 2020 21:51 UTC)

8/27/2020 6:34 PM – “We have identified that the issue was caused due to instability as a result of the previous Webmail outage. The team has failed over all the services to a stable NAS and Webmail has recovered successfully.
