Plesk Hosting Server Certificate Renewal (2022+)
The following announcement only affects customers who host their own domain name on our Plesk hosting server.
We have renewed our SSL/TLS security certificate for our Plesk hosting server (host.widomaker.com). This renewed certificate will be used for connections to the Plesk server and the Plesk Control Panel. This includes HTTPS, FTPS, and some email connections (POP3, IMAP, SMTP).
[Resolved] DSL Outage in parts of Williamsburg, VA, on 9/30/2022
9/30/2022 1:40 PM ET – As of approximately 1:40 PM ET, on Sept. 30, 2022, the telephone company acknowledged there is one, or more, outage(s) affecting some DSL customers in the Williamsburg, VA, area. Some customers reported trouble starting shortly after 11:00 AM. The telephone company has not provided an ETR. We are waiting for further updates.
[Resolved] DSL Outage in the Stonehouse/Croaker Area of Williamsburg 9/15/22
As of approximately 3:30 PM ET, on Sept. 15, 2022, some DSL customers in the Stonehouse/Croaker area of Williamsburg began reporting intermittent service interruptions. If your DSL service is affected by this issue, be sure to let us know by calling our office, and providing the status of the lights on your DSL modem. Since there was a recent telephone company outage in the same area, we assume this is related. We have opened trouble tickets to report the issue to the telephone company and are waiting for updates. 9/13/2022 3:50 PM – Beginning on Sept 13, 2022, around 3:50 PM, there is a telephone company outage, in our area, that is affecting our office telephone lines. If you try to call our office and can’t get through, please email us or use this temporary number (757-369-9438), to reach us.
9/14/2022 11:00 AM – Telephone service at our office has been restored.

Beginning on 8/26/2022 there has been a telephone company outage, affecting DSL customers, in the Stonehouse and Croaker areas of Williamsburg. Affected customers have had intermittent service during the outage. The telephone company is aware and working on repairs. Additional updates, as available, may be found below…
