[Resolved] DSL Outage in parts of Williamsburg, VA, on 9/30/2022
9/30/2022 1:40 PM ET – As of approximately 1:40 PM ET, on Sept. 30, 2022, the telephone company acknowledged there is one, or more, outage(s) affecting some DSL customers in the Williamsburg, VA, area. Some customers reported trouble starting shortly after 11:00 AM. The telephone company has not provided an ETR. We are waiting for further updates.
So far, the affected customers are located in, or near, the following areas of Williamsburg:
- Seasons Trace
- St Georges Hundred
- Greensprings
- Ford’s Colony
- Olde Towne Road
9/30/2022 5:45 PM ET – The telephone company has provided an ETR (Estimated Time of Repair) of 9/30, 10:45PM.
10/1/2022 12:00 PM ET – Service has not been restored. We are waiting for further updates from the telephone company.
10/1/2022 2:20 PM ET – As of about 2:20 PM on Saturday, multiple customers have been able to reconnect. If you have not reconnected, try powering off all of your equipment, including your modem and router, and powering back on. We are waiting for further updates from the telephone company.
10/1/2022 4:00 PM ET – As of about 4:00 PM on Saturday, the majority of affected customers have reconnected. If you have not reconnected, try powering off all of your equipment, including your modem and router, and powering back on. We are waiting for further updates from the telephone company.
10/1/2022 8:00 PM ET – Connection logs show that all customers, who previously reported trouble, have reconnected. If anyone is still having trouble, please contact us and provide details.
