As of 8AM, Wednesday, Oct 23rd, there is a known issue affecting some DSL customers in certain parts of the Williamsburg, VA, area.
Beginning around 10PM on, Tuesday, Oct, 22nd 2013, some DSL customers is certain parts of, Williamsburg, VA, were not able to connect.
We have reported this issue to the telephone company and it is being investigated and worked on.
We apologize for the inconvenience. We will be monitoring the situation as the telephone company works on the issue.

After reporting trouble, always leave your DSL modem turned on and wiring connected to avoid delays in troubleshooting or getting service restored.
Update Wednesday, 10/23/2013, 9:45AM:
The telephone company has confirmed that there is a routing issue affecting the area. They have provided an ETR (Estimated Time of Repair) by 8pm, 10/24/2013, noting that repairs could be complete prior to the estimate.
The symptoms caused by this known outage are that the DSL modem has SYNC (DSL or READY light is on solid), but the user cannot login or surf (also known as NO ROUTE).
We apologize for the unexpected outage and will me monitoring the telephone company’s progress. Unfortunately, we must wait for the telephone company to repair their infrastructure and equipment that services this area before service will be restored. We will be providing any available updates here.
Update Wednesday, 10/23/2013, 2:00PM:
Many customers have been able to connect again starting at about 11:00AM. However, the telephone company reports that repairs are not complete.
Update Thursday, 10/24/2013:
The telephone company has confirmed that repairs are complete and the outage has cleared.
