An Important Update to Our Support Channels

For over 30 years, Widomaker has been proud to offer exceptional live telephone support to our customers. Following the recent discontinuation of our DSL service, we were forced to make some changes, and are focusing our limited resources to ensure we can continue to provide stable, reliable hosting and email services. As part of this, we are updating our contact procedures to enable our small team to continue to support our customers as efficiently as possible with the resources available.

Effective before the end of this year, we will be transitioning from live-answer phone support to a more structured system focused on email and scheduled callbacks. Our small local team remains available to help you, but with some new limitations.

Here are the new contact procedures:

1. For Technical Support

  • Fastest Method (Email): Please email helpdesk@widomaker.com. This allows our team to investigate your issue thoroughly and provide a detailed response.
  • Callback Method (Voicemail): You may still call our main number at (757) 253-7621 and leave a detailed message. Our goal is for voicemail callbacks to occur within one to two business days.

2. To Update Your Credit Card on File

For your security and Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance, please do not send credit card information over email. We have created a new, callback request form for this purpose.

  • Please visit widomaker.com/billing to request a callback from our Billing department. A Billing team member will call the phone number on your account to reach you and process the update.

3. For General Billing, Sales, or Account Changes

  • Account Changes & Billing: For account changes (such as cancellations or upgrades) or for general billing questions, please email acctbilling@widomaker.com.
  • Sales Questions: For questions about new services, please email salesrep@widomaker.com.

This transition allows our team to more efficiently use our limited resources to continue providing effective support options for our customers. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your continued trust in Widomaker. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
