Please note, DSL customers in the 757 area may be having trouble getting connected to the internet. The common error message is 678 or if you have a router, simply the page cannot be displayed yet your modem will show it’s synched. We are aware of the problem and working with the Phone Company as this issue resides on their network, to resolve this as quick as possible, so please keep trying until this problem is resolved.
9/19/11 11:30 pm: No ETR as of yet. Have been told that Phone Technicians are working the trouble.
9/20/11 7:30 am: No ETR as of yet. Added status on support line (757-253-7621, option 2).
9/20/11 3:00 pm: We are still expecting an update from the phone company, shortly. However, some customers have reported that their service started working again just before 3:00 pm. You may need to power cycle your DSL modem and router equipment in order to reconnect. We will provide another update once we hear more from the phone company.
9/20/11 6:00 pm: The phone company reports that the outage has now cleared.
In observation of the Labor Day holiday weekend, our hours of operation for our offices are as follows:
Saturday September 3rd – Normal 10am – 4pm Phone Support – Office Closed
Sunday September 4th – Phone Support and Office Closed
Monday September 5th – Phone Support and Office Closed
Normal hours will resume on Tuesday September 6th.
